Charged Chromebooks
Please be sure all Chromebooks are charged for school each day.

COVID-19 Exposure
If your child has been exposed to a positive case of COVID-19 when away from school, please notify the school office immediately. By reporting any exposure to a positive friend or family member, you are doing your part to help stop the spread.

COVID-19 Symptoms
We work closely with the Catawba County Public Health Department and follow the guidelines from the NC Department of Health and Human Services when working with students and staff with symptoms that could be related to COVID-19. 
Covid19 symptoms of concern are listed below. If your child has any symptoms of COVID-19, you are advised the child should not attend child care, school, youth program, camp or other activities and isolate from others until he or she can see a doctor and/or get tested.

  • Fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher
  • Cough (for people with chronic cough due to allergies or asthma, a change in their cough from usual)
  • Difficulty/hard time breathing
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Vomiting, or diarrhea
  • New onset of severe headache, especially with a fever

If your child has symptoms from this list, please report the symptoms to the school and ask for information about what steps to take so your child can return to school.
